Trey Mills is a passionate artist, noisemaker, songwriter, musician, producer, and emerging filmmaker dedicated to great storytelling. His work highlights all sides of joy and the more beautiful aspects of humanity.

Trey has spent most of his life creating original music, collaborating with other artists, and helping creatives find their unique identity and realize their goals. Trey strives to emulate the heart of Christ, with messages of love, hope, peace, truth, and understanding underpinning his work.

He has written and produced Top 10 records for various artists, which have been heard on FM radio stations worldwide. His work has also been featured in high-profile events and media, including the World Cup of Soccer, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Soul Food, ABC Television commercials, and more.

Most recently, Trey co-wrote “Heaven’s Telephone” with Forest Blakk, a heart-wrenching ballad about loss released by Atlantic Records. In 2010, ABC used Trey’s self- written and self-produced song “Saving Me” for an international all-media campaign to launch the show Off the Map.

Trey has collaborated with legendary figures such as Eddie Kramer (The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Kiss) and Dixon Van Winkle (Frank Sinatra, Paul McCartney). He has written for, recorded, produced, and/or mixed for a wide range of artists including Forest Blakk, Canadian Brass, Melanie Fiona, KRS-One, Dempsey Bolton, Nicole Holness, Glenn Lewis, X-Quisite & Fito Blanko. Trey has also worked for Greg Lake (Emerson, Lake & Palmer), Tyrese Gibson, and began his career providing PQ editing and pre-mastering for major labels such as Sony, Warner, Universal, and EMI.

Trey has been a guest speaker for the Music Managers Forum Canada (MMF), Manitoba Music, Indie Music Week, SOCAN, BreakOut West, and Canadian Music Week, and has served as a juror for FACTOR and the Alberta Media Development Fund.
