After graduating from the University of Alberta's astrophysics program and considering pursuing a Master's degree, Dempsey instead decided to dive head first into music, moving away from his hometown in August of 2020 and renting out a studio to produce music full-time. 

Within two years he landed his release "Savour" on Spotify's New Music Friday Canada and Apple Music's Breaking Pop. Since, Dempsey has produced and released 20 songs accumulating over 500,000 streams on major streaming platforms with over 40 blog features and a dozen Youtube curator uploads with millions of subscribers combined and showcased at MUSEXPO (Katy Perry, Adele, Jessie Reyez, etc.) in LA.

Moved by his modern day heroes Dominic Fike, Harry Styles and Artemas as well as all time greats like Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson, Dempsey crafts songs with sounds that inspire him, writing acoustically and later using his skills on keys, guitar and bass to build intricate and grand productions.

Currently, Dempsey is working on his sophomore album set to release in the summer of 2025.
