His passion for photography began as part of his coming-out journey, and he uses his art to advocate for freedom, break down societal barriers, and create safe spaces for people to express themselves.

Boon's work has been featured in exhibitions, conferences, and workshops, earning him many recognitions and awards both locally and internationally.

Shibari rope art entered Boon's life a few years ago as a means to find solace amid emotional turmoil. Today, it has become an essential element of his artistic expression. Beyond his photographic endeavours, Boon dedicates his time to advancing his Shibari practices and offering group classes for individuals and couples interested in exploring this intricate art form.
