nvrlnd. is a non-profit art collective that transformed an abandoned hotel in Ramsay, with the goal to create an open-minded, affordable and safe art space for artists to gather, create, experiment and share their work with the public. We believe that art is a vital part of the way we see and understand the world around us, and are committed to collaborating with artists of multiple disciplines, thinkers and communities to help produce works that explore art, performance, music, technology and sustainability.
We house 35 interdisciplinary artists in 26 studios. Each hotel room has been revitalized into an accessible yet autonomous studio that provides privacy when wanted or access to other artists in the space, allowing connectivity to a community of diverse artistic practices.
Our mission is to support community renewal in the city of Calgary by providing affordable "co-creating" rental space and self contained art studios through our financially sustainable social enterprise model.
We are a private studio that is open to the public by appointment, or you can visit during our Open Studio evenings on the first Friday of every month.

As an extension for studios, the boutique exists to provide a dynamic and affordable incubational space for artists, by artists. By providing an alternative through accessibility for a diverse scope of practices, the premise of the boutique is to support the artist community by bridging the gap between artist and their audience
